Hello everyone

I have noticed that of late the door check strap on the rear drivers door has water on it and or ice when it’s cold enough, so clearly water is getting in.

has anyone experienced this before?

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your F-150 concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

I haven’t gone to a dealer about it yet because I don’t want my truck to sit for five days while I drive an escape loaner all for someone to tell me it was a bad seal or it’s normal

But thank you

Its has to be normal, mine is always filthy in that area. Every truck I have owned looks the same, its far from water tight

It’s outside the primary weather seal on the cab, the outer one on the door is just for noise abatement/aerodynamics and isn’t waterproof, so I personally think it’s probably normal.
