Has anyone tried using the existing infinite baffle hole in the back of the cab for a custom sub box? Is this even doable? Seems like a good way to take advantage of Ford's engineering to improve sound quality without taking up a ton of space.

What's your interest? SPL (Sound Pressure Level - raw thumping hip-hop / heavy metal loudness) or SQ (Sound Quality - tight, well-controlled musical bass at 'reasonable' lightening levels)?

A bit of both. I want more punch than this Kicker HS10 I already have can deliver for me. I'd also like to retain the factory jack, and the driver's side back wall will be taken up with the amps, power distribution, and emergency equipment I have. I mainly listen to deep house/EDM and occasionally hip hop and top 40s stuff, but I don't need competition level bass.

The HS10 fills out the low end nicely but has no punch. I've seen SGS's hideaway system and that's more real estate than I want to dedicate for the amount of bass I need. I DID install a seat-ahead kit which has given me an extra 2-3" of room behind the seat, looks like a cavern back there now.
