So if you saw my first post about a possibly blown rear speaker and replacing with JBL was confirmed
I decided to go with Infinity Reference instead of JBL due to past experiences with Infinity products (I know they are under the same umbrella) and since they are 4ohm.
Overall I'm thrilled! The whole sound seems fuller now just off stock amplifier power. If I have the time and money I'd love to switch out the stock amp give them say 80-100w RMS. I'd rather do the SGS sub upgrade first.
I decided not to use the treble boost on the tweeter as is made the sound stage very rear centric when fade was set to dead center. I plan on doing the 6x9 after getting a hold of the factory bullshit paper speakers. They are terrible IMO, and don't give me any kind of premium feeling that the extra money for B&O would imply. They reminded me of the factory speakers on my 2001 F250 XL work truck!
If you look closely, you can see on the factory speaker cone (which is paper feeling) a defined warpped surface. I'm guessing from moisture, possibly during manufacturing.
I did use the Metra speaker bracket and wiring harness. Made install a breeze.
