Truck box cap

Hey, everyone Im wanitng to put a box cap on my 2024 f150, but im being cheap. does a box cap for a 2015f150 fit on a 2024f150 does anyone know?

Does anything know of a place in canada with used caps you can get for cheap?

Define fit
My uncle had a 20 MY and tried putting that cap on a 23 MY, it sat on top and he was able to secure it with the original hardware. But had a gap at the cab and leaked. Cheap ol man used gorilla tape, still looks like sheet.

Have you tried Overland Truck Outfitters? They have a lot of caps in their yard. North of Winnipeg on #8 highway.

I'm also looking for a cap and have found the same thing as @Gutshot said. They will technically fit, but you'll either have a 2" gap at the front that will either barely, or not quite seal, and/or the rear lid will not seat quite right on the tailgate. So no, we'll need a '21+ model for a proper fit.

I ended up putting a cap designed for a MY 2013 on my 2023. The person that I bought it from had it on their 2022, and had to cut a bit of the inside rails at the rear to get the tailgate to close.

There is a small gap at the front (I got some weatherstrip purchased from Amazon to seal that, weatherstrip is ahered to the top of the bed, and cap pushed up against / on top of it), and the back glass doesn't come down over the entire top of the gate, so some water does get in that way (I'm not sure how much though, as I think it's leaking around the top of the glass frame / 3rd brake light, and I haven't had a chance to chase that leak yet to determine how much is coming from the top of the tailgate versus the overhead.

Attached photo is from when the seller and I just quickly put it on my truck for transport purposes, he'd had it painted to match his truck, which was the same color as mine (His lease was ending, so he was selling the cap)
