I got tired of strap-ons (mirrors, that is) while towing so I sprang for the full monty from Fairway Ford in OH. They were $500 less than my dealer quoted me for the same item.
Confirmed via VIN that they were compatible with my 2022 Platinum PB.
Included was a bezel for mirror controls that houses the telescoping switch. The harness connector for this was present but was of course not being used. No problems with connectors noted.
Instructions for removal installation were pretty good (almost entirely pictures) even for an aged person like me.
Upon power-up I got a CEL, P0073 for ambient air temp sensor. Power fold, adjust, lights, camera appear to be functional. Power telescope not functional.
Test drive seems to confirm all other functions. I left the bezel loose so I could access controls without another prying episode but it seems the connections are idiot-proof, presuming I'm not one.
Fairway Ford's info indicated that a visit to the dealer would be in order following installation. I'm hoping this may be something that can be done in Forscan but I'm not set up to do that. Happy to provide VIN in a PM. I'm looking for any advice from the forum's many luminaries...
