I see a lot of guys adding their own (me included).
When I was done:
I had my doubts about at least 1 Forscan change,
changing 'Gain'+- showed net in dash display,
and squeezing 'Apply' warned not trailer attached.
(Edit) On a light tow, I noticed something like 'apply force'
shows on big screen when selecting trailer.
I am not sure I proved anything except display.
So I'm gonna' try reading brake signal (at 7 pin, I guess 0-10?) while having 4 pin plug attached.
I guess then I will go to UHaul and beg a test before renting.
(My utility is brake-less.)
But, I also read that brake are automatically applied when sway is detected (the integrated part).
How to test if this is active for DIY Forscan installs?
Are there any other functions that should/could be active/tested - I don't know something snow/slip related? How to test?
Anyone have a comprehensive test protocol?
