Sync Update for full screen Car Play

Hi guys,
Bring my truck in for first oil change and 2 recalls tomorrow. Any key words or phrases to ask them to update me to the full screen CarPlay? It’s a ‘22 Job 2 truck so it came with Alexia & the backup camera working. Had an OTA update to 3.5.2 back in September.

You can ask them to update the APIM.

However, it’s extremely unlikely that they will as Ford won’t pay them for that. You’ll either have to wait, or buy the cable and the license and do it yourself.

Bring your own USB and slip the tech a sawbuck to make the update drive for you? With inflation might have to get help from Jefferson.
