Sync display not starting correctly

YES SIR i agree
i think thats why it displays it as an INVALID number , not every time, but often.
i removed the 1 before area code then the number
verizon adds it back in a few days later. yet my number , which is exactly the same except the last digit, both numbers were activated the same date many moons ago etc
its perplexing

if i use the phones key pad, it goes right through as normal

but if use sync screen it acts like it cant find it, or tries to call then hangs up
or places call then hangs up right as it should ring, withe invalid number. or it appears to hang up or not go through then all the sudden i hear her voice and then call connects.

That +1 keeps getting added because it is the country code. #1 is for the usa #20 is for egypt every country has a different code. All it for is to tell the operator what country you are trying to dial to. technically if you are dialing someone in the same country youself, you dont need the country code. But sometimes if you dont put in the country code the number won't go through so it won't cause a problem having it there.

MIne has done it like three times and all after updates so I assumed it was due to that. FWIW I have never had to do anything it starts working correctly by the time I hit the end of my 400' driveway.

yep i get that
all our numbers here drop the #1 .
but for reason #1 keeps popping back in our hers
she tried calling me this morning and it kept telling her it could not conect
so she texted me and i tried with sync to place the call, it tried then stopped, no ring no hang up
then i pressed the green phone button on my phone and BOOM right through
it has to be a stray electron somewhere???

Happens here as well from time to time. There are no official updates in Fordpass to account for it, but there are changes.
I also know that my truck is way behind on updates from Ford. And, I'm often one of the last to actually get updates that people notice like full screen Carplay (had that for some time now)

I reinstalled the software wit for scan and that helped but not cured

So for about a month now when I get in and start my truck my SYNC screen does not boot up correctly. Sometimes its black, sometimes it hangs on the Ford Logo loading screen. Usually, it will restart itself and sort itself out, but sometimes I have to turn the truck off, get out lock it and start over.

This was only happening occasionaly at first, but is now happening I would say at least half of the time. Not sure if this was caused by an update that was pushed out or what would cause this to start happening all of a sudden.

Any ideas on how to manually reset it?
