Subtle 5-beeps and repeats. Source? Worries?

2024 PB, 7.2kw, Tow Package, Lariat. Out at Quartzsite where it is very quiet, my wife and I both heard a low volume, high frequency beeping. It would beep 5x, stop, then begin again and continue until truck was off or we started driving and couldn’t hear it.
Only when engine is on and didn’t matter if 7.2kw was on or not.
Anyone have experience, cause, solutions or “need for concern “?

Is it something like this? See posts 15 & 20. Some dealers put a GPS tracker on their vehicles so it can be recovered if stolen overnight or on a test drive. Maybe they forgot to deactivate yours?

Sadly no (or thankfully…if it was that prominent, I would be very unhappy ?)
Anyway, it is much more subtle, like the annual hearing loss tests we used to do in the AF.

Ah yes, the annual USAF hearing test. Usually done when they are jackhammering the sidewalk right outside the wall that the booth is on wile having the office party in the room next door. One time the tech opened the door and said I appeared to be randomly pushing the button cause he hadn’t started the test yet. Must have been the tinnitus ringing I was hearing. I think that’s when they re-baselined me and said I was fine for another year. ?

Anyway, those alarms don’t have to be audible-could be a “silent one” that you can faintly hear. Check under the drivers dash, maybe spliced in to the OBD wiring for power. Or call dealer to see if they install one on their vehicles as an add on item For protection as described above. Some dealers also sell them to you offering an annual subscription for recovery after the sale.

I always responded truthfully when in the hearing booth!
I will check with the dealer (and the technician with the best hearing I hope).
