Smart Vincent Incentives

I have a concern with my salesman at my dealership.
I ordered back on 10/31/22 and my truck is coming in next week. I just called him so we can get everything finalized before it comes in. So I mention finance and he tells me I might not get 0%. I said that Is locked in on the order date. He said he is not sure if Smart Vincent has that certificate. Needs to wait until truck arrives so he can check system.
NOT HAPPY WITH THAT ANSWER.

What can I do?

similar bullsh*t occured to me in the past. i ended up having to walk away since the stupid f*cking salesperson didn’t register my information for all the available incentives/rebates.

I just checked with the sales manager and he mentioned that if the ordered in COVP approved then the order date rates and incentives are locked.

Just asked my salesman he said ALL factory ordered vehicles are entered in COVP.

yes, if COVP is valid in your case according to the salesperson then you no longer need to break a sweat Lol.

COVP = Customer Order Verification Program. This validates that this is a real retail order - many months ago I think dealers were placing retail orders for stock orders, hence ford had to implement something to combat this practice. I think in the initial months of 2021 model the COVP was not required, hence some retail orders don’t have the rebate and incentives locked in smart Vincent.

yes you must be enrolled in COVP at the time of ordering or your incentives/rebates will not be available at the time of delivery.

thanks, Yes, Customer Order Verification Program . I thought I went through that with my 2021 ranger order but did not know the name. It was brand new system, took the dealer a week to get it done.

Salesman gave me wrong info when I signed my order. It wasn't 0-72 It was 1.9% - 60 months.
What avenue do I have to fight my signed order with deposit.

yikes.. this is borderline lawyer stuff. dealership won’t take fault nor will Ford corporate help you with this one. i experienced a very similar situation back in January with my 1st misplaced F150.

Does any of your signed paperwork state the finances at the time, or agreed upon at the time? Do you have any emails, texts or any communications? I made sure to email everything with my dealership, and if they called back I would follow up with an email summary of our conversation for clarity and my own protection. Not sure how much budging Ford credit will have, but like @fordhouston stated above, you could ask a lawyer if you have any documentation on your side.
