Morning guys. Welp I have a prob with my '22 PB Plat. Was showing my son this morning how the shifter lays flat and mine wouldnt. I cant tell you honestly if Ive ever tried before, but its definitely not working.
Has anyone else ever had any issues with this?

Could this be a side effect of any Forscan changes Ive done? (Recently someone noted that my puddle lights werent working, probably because i enabled "Lincoln Fold Mirrors" and he was right.)

Does anyone know if shifter lay down not working could be a side effect of:

- Bambi Light change
- Dbl Horn Honk disable
- Rear Cam when driving enable
- Lincoln Fold Mirrors enabled, but then disabled again

If I remember right, it only works in Park.

I recently had the same issue with stowing the console shifter.
The shift lever had developed 'slack' when moving from Park to Drive, or up to Reverse.
I had to push the shifter up to Reverse then slowly push it up little by little and press the Stow button. Finally, the shifter stowed into the cavity as it should.
I pressed the Stow button to bring it up and down several times which removed the 'slack' from the shift lever.

Reading about slack, being out of positron, not laying flat, and the way they just felt flimsy during test drives, I don't see these gimmick shifters lasting very long. Just a hunch.

Went with the column shifter. I need a raptor flappy paddle steering wheel now.
Column shifter also has motors to move itself so I don't see it being more reliable than the console.
