I just talked to the shipping company in kc looking for a truck. They said kc isn't really releasing much due to a seat belt issue. He said they are sending all inventory to dearborn to fix the 18000 trucks they still have sitting there. So if you've got a kc built unit you might be waiting a while.

OMG, they won't have room for all the trucks they will have at Dearborn. They are holding for BLIS, deployable running boards and now seat belts....

Well that would make sense now why a lot of your orders haven't shipped out yet but show a build date of in some cases over a month ago. The truth is they aren't really "ready to go". The fix process is not much slower as they pretty much have to fix each truck manually just like a dealership would do with a mass recall. I'm imagining the prod line has been fixed and so recent builds and future builds in the upcoming weeks will roll off the line and immediately ship out and however many are getting fixed a day are then turned around and shipped out slowly as well. Wonder if the seatbelt issue was also in Dearborn since KC is moving their trucks there for the fix? This is all speculation and what makes sense to me in my head but have no idea if this is what is really going on.

We don't have anything from kc actually released other than the one I got them to hurry and ship out before any holds got placed. Plus one of our 3 broncos that just arrived in kc has stop ship listed in vin visibility. So not a lot of good news going around.

Release 1 a day. These are going to be expensive trucks. I might want to get a Bugatti instead! 1600 ft lbs of torque and the tow package should work.

For my dealership. I'm sure they are releasing more than 1 truck daily.
