How's it going. Just purchased my first new F150 and of course I'm now lost in a sea of accessories to get. Was wondering if anyone here has purchased the new rough county tri fold hard cover and what their experience has been. Appears to function similar to the Backflip with the ability to be propped up fully to allow for full bed access. Reason I'm looking at it is because I prefer the way it unlocks (more of a pinch to unlock as opposed to pulling a cord) and of course the price. But, want to see if anyone has real world experience with it.

I bought the Rough Country, for my 2023 F150 Powerboost and love it until the latching mechanism broke on the second panel. Trying to connect with Rough Country to see if anything can be done. I do like it better that the Backflip.

Thanks for the feedback! Hopefully that was a rare occurrence and they warranty it for you. That locking mechanism is a big reason why I'm leaning towards it. I keep reading about a coat hanger being used to open the corded mechanisms. But I don't know if that's just a rumor cause I haven't seen videos showing it or if it's a valid point.

I havent used a RC, but have used a company called Tyger, about $340 for a trifold. I've had 3 or 4, all have been amazing.
