So I just secured a 2023 Platinum F150 and I am in the market to upgrade a few things on it with your help guys. I am new to the forum so please be gentle. I have searched far and wide and I am unable to find an answer to my specific queries.

I would like to get a solid roll bar for the truck, mostly for looks (I am a sucker for roll bars) and I would also like to get a bed cover that will work with my truck without covering the rear view or the rear view camera.

My search so far had rendered 2 very cool products, but I have not been able to find a post or video discussing the 2 together and I am hoping I can get some insight from seasoned owners.

The roll bar that I really like is the GO Rhino with the articulating lights at the top. I understand there is some drilling involved (hopefully reversible).
The Tonneau cover that I like is the Bak MX4 Gen 3 or the MX4 roll up. My understanding is that the camera is blocked with the folding one but the roll up one should provide both rear view plus camera clearance.

I did already see a photo on a forum about the Go Rhino not blocking the rear view camera, which is awesome, but right now, I am not sure of the tonneau will work with the roll bar.

Does anyone have this combination and what would you suggest I do?

Thanks in advance.

The MX4 does NOT block the camera when opened. The cover rests against your window below the 3rd brake light. Available here (I assume shortbed)

We've not installed a cover and a roll bar. Your roll bar installation may prevent the cover from opening.

I'd suggest if you wanted to try it, go with the RetraxPro XR instead, as the T-Slot is wider/flatter. Instead of a T-Slot system sitting ON TOP of the mx4 rails, the retrax has a NICE wide platform with the integrated t-slots. That allows something like a roll bar to sit more flush and have more "real estate" to sit on. And since the retrax is a canister system it has it's own rail internally that the cover rolls on. So nothing has to flip open

We ran the RetraxPro XR on our demo truck with an Elevate FS rack
