I just received a “Recall Notice” on my Ford App.
“Campaign/NHTSA# 22S17/22v193”
It’s to “Reprogram the Integrated Trailer Relay Module”
BUT… I JUST picked up my truck yesterday after they spent a DAY updating Modules to get my Pro Trailer Backup Assist working.
I couldn’t imagine that “I” would get a Recall Notice before they did so I called them….
It turns out that the “Recall” was for a Module update that turns out to be a “faulty update” and they were told NOT TO DO THE “UPDATE”!

THIS IS WHY my next Truck will be built in Austin TX!
The world has changed and new vehicles are being designed & built by Silicon Valley geeks… NOT “Motor City” Gear Heads!
