Raptor Grill Lights- F150LEDS , Wiring for Dynamic LED Headlights

So, I just got the
2024 F150 Raptor Style Extreme LED grill Kit
from F150LEDS , They said to tap into the headlight assembly wiring. (I have the LED DYNAMIC BENDING HEADLIGHTS)
On Diver side, the ground being Pin 10 Black/Yellow wire and the power to Pin 3 Grey / Blue (DRL)
My question is ...Is that where I want to hook for power ? Or the Side Marker wire ? I want to have the grill lights on anytime I have headlights on , including DRL , And want to have them on even if I just have Parking lamps on...

I made my own fender vent lights and I bought the harness to tap into my marker lights. I only have an stx and didn't want to tap into factory wiring so dealership has absolutely no reason to deny warranty work if I ever need it. Works great

Yea I saw the harness earlier , I probably should get one too but it's another $40 , idk. If I hit the right wire it's going to be easy. If not .... What a PITA
On the harness, I am curious as to which pin/wire is it uses for power ?

Well I saw it as cheap insurance. If you yap into factory wiring and something happens you've got evidence of tapping into them and we'll whatever it cost to fix whatever happened is out of my pocket. But a harness used there's no tapping or splicing or anything done to factory harness. Thats just my .02.
Then in your case you have the led dynamic bending and all so just imagine if something went wrong and they wouldn't cover it it's gonna be way more than $40.
Don't get me wrong I'm all about saving some money and with my vent lights I had less than $10 into it but opted to buy harness to avoid tapping into my stx wiring.

Absolutely understand where you're coming from , 9 out of 10 times I'm right there with you. But patience is not my strong suit so I just went out there and spliced ...WORKS PERFECTLY !!!

I just got this same kit for my '24 STX. The installation update that they have for OEM LED-equipped trucks states that you can tap into the drivers-side Blue/Grey (DRL) and Black/Yellow (GND) wires on the drivers-side wiring connector, there is no Blue/Grey wire. There's a Blue/Green wire....see attached pic.

The Black/Yellow ground is there. I posted a comment on the YouTube installation video and will be e-mailing support here in a bit.

Additionally, the t-taps provided are really small, designed for the smaller light kit wires vs the factory wires they're suggesting I tap into. I'm concerned I might sever the factory wire.

As stated above...futzing with the factory wiring can have consequences. I'd happily spend the $40 for the harness....can someone re-post info on it?

Is this the adapter that works for the STX? Says it's for the projector LED headlamps...the STX has reflector LEDs but the connector looks identical to mine.

I called Starkey today and the sales rep said that the harness for the 2024 STX with the reflector LED's is in the works and should be available by the end of October. He confirmed that the wiring is slightly different on the '24 models. I am willing to wait for this new harness as opposed to modifying my factory wiring in any way.
