Added rain sensing wiper parts:

Stalk
Rain sensor
Harness was already there

Forscan changes:
APIM
IPC
SCCM

Enabled on infotainment screen

The wipers are just operating as normal and it appears they are not using the sensor to wipe. We have tried testing them out with the hose and when we stop the water the wipers still keep going.

Any ideas what the issue could be?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I did have him check for any recalls since I saw that was an issue for some.

Also checked the clips holding in the rain sensing wiper.

The only other thing I can think of is. The rain sensing wipers are working but it's hard to tell because the sensor has a sticky film on it. He bought the sensor directly from Fairway Ford in Ohio.

EDIT: Corrected spelling and punctuation.

As someone with rain sensing wipers... They've been disabled.

They never seem to go fast enough, stop soon enough, etc. Not to mention, car washes!

Rain sensing wipers and folding mirrors. Two items I made sure Chip showed me how to turn off before I left Granger.

I’ve never liked the Ford version. They are inconsistent as described in another post. The best rain sensing wipers I ever had was on a 1995 BMW 540i. They were so sweet and operated exactly as they ought to. My guess is Ford went cheap on the sensor and the result is what I’ve experienced.

Check FORScan and also see if its enabled in Easy Mode and on Sync.
