My dealer had me finance at the increased price and claims I’ll be getting a check from them once ford credits the dealership the difference. Anyone else have this happen? They claim it takes 1-4 months (about $3000)

That's what I'm dealing with at the moment, difference is it sounds like your dealership was up front about it, mine told me I was stuck with the price increase until I contacted ford and then told them I was filing a complaint with the BBB and AG. They then told me I would be getting a check when ford reimbursed them (like in your case). I picked up mine 3 weeks ago, no check yet (besides a rebate dispute I had that they paid me out on). But I'm not anticipating the reimbursement for another month or so ($2K)

I thought they were supposed to request the invoice adjustment and they get paid back from Ford. It sounds like they just wanted you guys to finance a higher amount so they'd make more money in the end.

I don't think people should have to get a check on the back end when they had a price locked in. I believer the dealer is supposed to get a new invoice and money back 30 to 45 days after the truck is verified sold and sold to the customer that ordered it.

I have one more question. I ordered a loaded out F-250 Lariat Tremor, I just got a vin and the dealer stated it's scheduled to go into production 9 September 2022. Once it shows the in-production date on the Ford tracker, how long should I expect for it to be delivered to the dealership?

Mine was very up front about it fortunately. I’ve had mine a bit over a month and no reimbursement check ether. Fingers crossed we get our money sooner rather than later!

Thanks for the update. I am planning on giving a detailed update on this forum describing the whole ordeal I went through once I get that check. Also will update if I ended up filing complaint with state Attorney General and Better Business Bureau
