Thanks guys. Good to know it's on and I'll be warned if it's off.

I tried testing this out on the test drive and got nervous about wrecking someone else's truck.

I can tell you as well that it works. I got a little to close to a car at a round-a-bought. I didn’t anticipate the car in front stopping so abrudtly with no one coming. Truck stopped for me. Pretty cool feature.

The Forward collision has never worked, didn't know that I had it till I had a loaner from the dealer, and someone dove in front of me. So then I checked my sticker supposed to be there. Well just another thing wrong with the '22 Lariat

I was on the freeway and the car in front of me moved over to the exit lane and braked to reduce speed and my truck with pre-collision braking hit the brakes as well even though the car was alongside the truck and my speed dropped by 20 mph. Fortunately no one was tailgating my truck or there would have been a rear collision. After that experience I went in to the Features section and diabled this feature as it is not safe.

I suspect that it has a broad frontal target area to cope with a child running out onto the road but it is too broad for highway use.
