My 2022 Powerboost has an issue where it sometimes takes up to 3 seconds after I put it in Drive before the gear engages. And when it does take the gear, it is a very abrupt jerk.

It seems to happen only when the truck is warm and has been running for a while. Any ideas?

Below is a short video showing this issue (if this is allowed).

Hi Manny. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.

LIkely its your aux pump on your transmission. If your engine is off when you do it and it feels like you just got a light tap (like being rear ended), it may be that. Mine had a similar issue, but mine will do this when coming to a stop and it goes to electric mode and after about 7 seconds of being stopped, I get a bump or jerk. It won't do it in tow mode as the engine stays engaged, and they hydraulic transmission pump is in use. Been waiting almost 2 months for an aux pump......
