That's not a leak code.
In fact, the leak usually isn't accompanied with a code.
The exhaust valve/solenoid is what usually throws the code.

It's this little fella:

My fault I thought the title of the thread was p237C. I will call dealer tomorrow: ok to drive for now I assume?

The thread is indeed titled in a way that associates the leak with a code. But you can experience the leak without the code, and vice versa.

If you clear the code and it doesn't return quickly, you might not have a failed valve.

My truck has been bitten by this problem and unfortunately it happened a few thousand miles after my original warranty ran out. Surprisingly the dealership is telling me that my extended warranty does cover a new heat exchanger and it is going to cost me $1600 to fix. I bought the extended warranty from Granger and it is the PremiumCARE level. I told the dealership that I’ll take it elsewhere to get it fixed. Something seems off on the whole situation. This is a dealership that once told me my brand new brakes were worn out and needed to be replaced. Absolute scam artists.

So if they are saying the heat exchanger is an "exhaust" item and not a component needed for the "hybrid or powertrain" system, that is a bunch of small type legalize BS if this heat exchanger is only on the powerboost.

Unfortunately this seems to be common. I needed a new high voltage wiring harness and they tried the same BS with me saying it was an electrical issue. I fought with the dealership and Ford customer service until they not only covered it 100% but also threw in a free ESP.

I just had my truck in for p237c. The prior owner had a different code and heat exchanger coolant leak which they replaced the spigots as the leak was coming from there. Mine was the valve itself stuck open. They replaced the muffler inlet and aligned it. Took an hour and they quoted campaign 24n04. The letter is out there on DOT website, but they’re mailing to dealers and owners in q1 of 2025 and it allows this issue to fixed outside of the warranty period. I wouldn’t pay shit until you read up on that. I’m also no mechanic but that heat exchanger component is really part of the powertrain function which should be 50,000

I agree with you on this one ! I also paid for the replacement of the heat exchanger spigots last year and it seems this should be included in the 24n04 customer satisfaction program.

it’s weird becuase the letter says the F150s aren’t covered yet due to them needing supplies I think mine is just covered since it’s under the 36k mark. But yeah this is basically a recall. It seems like it’s a recall without calling it a recall

Yeah, they are trying to tell me that the heat exchanger isn't even covered under the original factory warranty...

I’d show them the TSB and open a case with Ford customer service. Either that or go somewhere else.
