Power fold and telescoping mirror upgrade

I was under the impression all the wiring was there on the Lariat from the factory.

Not on my 22 unfortunately. I was under the same impression but got a rude awakening once I got the door panel off.

I should have known it was going to be a problem when Ford's website didn't even off the power telescoping option to me when I filtered by my year/vin. I don't remember what I did, but I had to select either a higher-level trim or a different year for it show up. I guess was hoping the website was screwed up.
But regardless, that's the only feature that doesn't currently work.

Perhaps of interest, 2022 workshop manual power fold and telescope wiring diagrams.

1. BCM to driver door control switch to telescope switch and DDM
2. DDM to LH mirror fold out/in motor
3. PDM to RH mirror fold out/in motor
4. DDM & PDM to respective telescope motors

Did everything plug in? Did you make the changes in Forscan?

Did everything plug in? Did you make the changes in Forscan?

There was no connector for the telescope control. Everything else plugged in and worked. I didn't even have to make changes to the lights with Forscan.
