The other day I had an experience. My truck went over a very rough washboard on the road only a few feet long. The truck shook my fillings nearly out. I immediately received several warnings such as the accident braking warning. The wrench light came on and received the service engine now. I had a code reader with me and read the codes then cleared them. The truck went into the limp home mode. I drive a few miles and stopped, shut off the engine. On restarting received the red battery light and the truck was in electric drive mode, except that the shifter wouldn't move out of park. Shut it off again and let it sit for a minute. On restart the second time all was well and the truck operated fine. So what happened? That shaking vibrated one of the many plugs in the truck and a few of the contacts opened up very briefly. The computer system saw that and reacted to it. Eventually all cleared and all is well. Had I not had a code reader with me and the ability to clear codes I could have been stranded. So, be ready, with the multitude of plugs in this truck, such things may happen. Next time I'm in for work I'll ask my tech to ensure all plugs are seated tightly.

Yep, plugs, grounds, terminal connections are all suspect. I did check them.
