Occasional Towing with 5.0...which rear gear?

I ordered my 2021 Super Crew 4x2 Lariat with the 5.0, Trailer Tow Package, Trailer Tow Mirrors, 3.31 Rear Axle Ratio with Electronic Locking. I tow my 2012 Boss 302 with an 18' Featherlite Aluminum Open Trailer to track events here in the southeast. The car is around 3800 lbs. and trailer around 1800 lbs. for a total trailer weight of 5600 lbs. The truck is rated to tow with the 3.31 axle 9700lbs. This combination works great for me and the first 400 mile round trip towing the car the fuel mileage was 14.9. Awesome truck!!!

Exactly what I was hoping to hear. Are the tow mirrors worth it? I built my truck and submitted the order to the dealership but didn't include the tow mirrors. Probably should have.

Yes! When I ordered my truck the cost of the trailer tow mirrors was $250, well worth the cost!
