Non Factory Black Appearance

I’m looking to pull the trigger on an azure f150 platinum, but cannot find one with factory black appearance. Does anyone have links to factory replacement parts?

To save some dough (which is going to be a common them in my reply), you can get the headlights, tail lights, grille, fender vents, wheels and black Ford grille emblem off of Ebay or FB Marketplace. Just note that if you aren't going to replace your hood with the BAP/Tremor hood, the hood release notch on the BAP grille will be visible since the hoods are different shaped in the front. It would be way cheaper just to wrap your Platinum grille black than buying a new BAP/Tremor hood and BAP grille (a used BAP/Tremor hood is extremely hard to find, and even more so in your desired color).

To save even more money ( probably over $2K), you could keep your headlights and tail lights unless you really want it as close to a BAP as possible.

The bed decal can be bought on Etsy, Ebay, Amazon or the dealer if you want OEM.

As for the rear tailgate applique, that might have to be purchased from the dealer since I can imagine removing one of those would be hard to do without getting damaged. I imagine that could be wrapped too.

I don't think you would have dual exhaust so you won't need to worry about the rear bumper caps for the exhaust tips. Speaking of exhaust tips, you could either buy the OEM black tip which is expensive for what it is, or pull yours off and spray paint it black. That's what I did and mine is still holding up great after 2 years.

As mentioned in the previous post, you will have some chrome trim along the bottom edge of the windows which you could also have wrapped black.

With all of that said, if you would rather not go the Ebay/FB route, and you want new OEM BAP parts, just grab the VIN off of a BAP Platinum and give it to your dealer and tell them the parts you want and they should be able to hook you up.

I am in a similar situation as you. For me, I love the aggressive look of the Tremors, but I really wasn't thrilled with the orange accents. Over the past two years I have SLOWLY been trying to add parts to mine to make it look similar, but not exactly. I still want to make it my own style so it's unique. I think you could do something similar with your Platinum by mixing a little of the BAP parts and still maintaining some of the parts that are unique to the Platinums like the grille.

Thank you… My biggest concerns are the tailgate appliqué, doorhandles, mirrors, and grill. Not terribly concerned about the headlights and tail lights. Might just do a very, very mild film on them to darken them up… I also love the tremor, but need a power boost with the 7 kW pro power

I was able to remove and paint the applique without any major complications. I also fixed the adhesive issue since both pieces are all plastic.

Thank you for this. Been searching for a good summary of what all would need done for this. Didn’t realize the headlights would need switched too. I’m mainly wanting the grille and hood.

I bought the package from Levittown when it was 2400 US dollars, All landed, with shipping and customs, it was 4K Canuck bucks. I priced out some of the components from Canadian retailers and it was over 7K here.

this kit right here...so Ford offers a black painted grill for NON BAP/Tremor trucks but its ONLY available through this package! i know you can get ebay ones for cheap or i could wrap mine...but i'd love a simple OEM option as well!
I should buy this kit and then send it back with my grill and call it a day hahaha

EDIT:
The one from the pics above looks like it fits not tremor style hoods where as the one you just linked looks like the BAP grill so it will still show the notch at the top

Second EDIT: closely looking at the pic, it appears its got some sort of plastic piece thats hiding the notch...

Third EDIT: upon googling...none of the grills seems to show a open notch like the BAP grills have. so if thats the case, this grill should fits a stardard F150 hood
