Well, I’m going backwards really fast now! First I can’t find the Port. I tried U Tube 6-8 times and it had videos all over but still can’t find it plus I had no BBB internet outside my house so went back inside and tried u tube on my TV and still nothing. It prolly has some sort of cover but it’s prolly hidden from old farts to keep the secrets stuff secret😬😆 Maybe I’m better of watching Casey Le Delle towing heavy equipment. Lol

If your reffering to the OBD2 port I attached a picture of my 21. It’ll be in the same spot on yours. Directly under the dash under the parking brake release button.

If only I knew that I had to turn upside down and lay on the floor to see the damn thing. The pictures I had seen made it look like you could see it from most any view. I did get it plugged in but finally had to go back inside the house as I was cold as hell. I finally found out a few more things that weren’t in the OBD instructions. I’ll finish later on and maybe dress not for California cool weather but for Michigan December weather…🤷‍♂️ it was 39 this morning and I know that lots of you all live in cooler weather states but I was born in Sacramento and have never liked the cold no matter where I lived. Thanks for the advice, I do appreciate it.👋

No problem sir.

I’m in Minnesota so I know how you feel. I was born and raised her and I still hate the cold. I don’t think it’s something that grows on you. 😂😂

It sure didn’t grow on me. Spent a few years in Michigan while in the Air Force. Came right back to Ca. right after after I got out.

I finally got it hooked up and paired. I should get a Purple Heart for just getting down on the floor, twisting around like a circus clown then finally getting it paired and working. I’m going wait until it gets just a little warmer then I’ll play with it and see if I can find something useful to entertain me until I figure out what else I don’t know how to run. I’m havin fun now👍

If you want to just start getting experience with the new tool and the cost is not an issue, then yeah, just get the recommended unit and start learning. You'll find it's not that difficult once you read up, watch videos, and have some hands on experience. Soon you'll be the expert diagnosing problems for friends and family!
I’ll prolly take a look at U Tube and see what I find. I wish I should remember to go to U Tube BEFORE I try something new. My son reminds me about U Tube everytime I ask him a question about anything. Lol

You’re right. I really should share my mistakes with others. I’ve made plenty so I have a ton that I could pass around if I could remember any of em!😬😆

Hell no problem. I’m older than dirt so I’ve had plenty of time to forget over and over again.😄 Good thing I’m a quick learner cause that knowledge only lasts a short time. 🤣
