We're glad you're excited about the D-Switch! The controller and Bluetooth transmitter are built right into it, so no extra wiring or physical switches are needed. You can use the D-Switch app to control everything on iOS or Andriod devices.

While it’s not CarPlay-compatible at the moment, Apple has strict limitations on the apps allowed for CarPlay, so adding compatibility would be challenging. However, we’re always looking to improve and may explore adding this feature if Apple's restrictions change in the future. Stay tuned, and enjoy lighting up those dark roads!

Actually, Garmin PowerSwitch is permitted on CarPlay mainly due to its navigation capabilities, which fit within Apple's approved app categories. Apple is highly restrictive about what’s allowed on CarPlay to keep the interface streamlined and safe for driving. They typically only permit apps for navigation, communication, music, and a few vehicle controls to reduce potential distractions. Since Garmin PowerSwitch has navigation functions, it meets these criteria, while other app types are generally blocked for safety reasons. This approach helps Apple maintain a focused, distraction-free driving environment.
