Need help with an add on light issue.

I bought some Tremor/BAP grill lights and am having an issue with the sequential turn signals. These were bought from cblightingdesigns. With only accessory power on, the grill turn signals function as intended. However, once I start the truck, the grill turn signals "hyper flash." I have spoken with the light maker/designer and he is stumped as to why they would act this way as he's sold many kits without hearing of this issue.

I will post a link to a video of the issue. They are connected through a provided plug-n-play harness. I can disconnect the turn signal function, but would like to keep it if at all possible.

Correct, I've updated the post to clarify the grill turn signals are the issue.

Just trying to understand why the engine running would cause this issue.

Could be as simple as noise filtering with the power circuitry on the aftermarket lights, could be a bad connection, could be a faulty component within the aftermarket lights. It’s obviously an electrical issue somewhere between the harness and the aftermarket lights, likely brought on by the higher voltage or electrical noise of the running alternator or 120v inverter (or generator if you have an inverter with the pro power onboard)

If I were you I’d make the seller repair or replace the item.
