Need help identifying this noise, not sure if it's Powerboost specific

I know the Powerboosts are known for a cacophony of different noises. I accept it, I like the truck too much so I look past it.

Recently I've had a noise coming from my front end that appears to happening more often. Typically I only hear it / feel it at slow speeds pulling away from a stop sign or in a parking lot.

I have no idea how to describe it, but the best I can say it's groaning, dragging brake, a bad bearing? I can feel it through the gas pedal and there is some low audible noise. As I pick up spread it goes away. Truck drives just fine goes in an out of 4wd without issue.

I was thinking maybe the electric motor? front brakes? transfer case? Anyone have any ideas?

20k here, never had one and usually problems people have aren't related to PB.
Pull your rear rims off and see if your bolt is broken. (If you have Max Tow)
The fact you are hearing sounds like it could be jostlin' around at low speeds and at high speeds the centrifical might have it hugged into a spot and not move or make any noise.

I only joke cuz, seems every third day someone posts, "my tailgate won't shut, friggin PB!!!!" Or something similar.

I don't have max tow unfortunately. My Powerboost noises are the "transmission" noises that are considered normal but sound like rattles and deems normal by the dealer after the TSB was done.

The other rattles in my dash, rear slider and sunroof are not Powerboost specific. She's just a noisy truck, especially in the cold.

On my last f150 (2017 3.5 ecoboost lariat) I had the exact same symptoms and it was an IWE (integrated wheel end). It was hard to describe, but it was exactly like you described. It wasn't too expensive to have a mechanic shop replace it but your truck will probably still be under warranty. Let us know what your find.

Interesting. Very well could be an IWE as the '21's were the last year with them right?

They are now Electric (EIWE).. had the issue with a 2013.. my 22 tremor is doing the same thing. Lots of people reporting similar problems.. seems issue is more prominent in colder weather. Conflicting reports that replacing Hubs/Actuators work and don’t work. Lot’s of dealers cannot duplicate the issue. No fix from Ford. Attaching photo from a user who claimed success.. was shared from a Ford engineer (apparently). Have not had time to try it with dealer.
