I guess delete this thread since I might offend people that I ordered a truck and just reiterated what Ford is telling me on my build to give others hope that will be ordering. (Since this is the Ordering, Tracking, and Production forum) I guess we can't say anything now a days without hurting other peoples feelings

Might of gotten lucky? At least I'm very surprised that it is moving this quick considering...

Ordered my truck on 5/5/21

VIN issued and truck scheduled yesterday 5/11/21

Scheduled the week of 6/14/21

My priority was input by the dealer as 10 (fastest retail order code)

My plant is Dearborn

WISH ME LUCK!
My post might have been out of line, so I am removing it.

I hope you get your truck sooner than later. Nothing is worse than Ramp 59 hell.

As long as you don't gloat (and from the reply to your original post it doesn't appear that you were) anyone who gets their pants in a twist has issues that they need to work through. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Besides, as you can see from my signature line IDGF who knows it took exactly 60 days from ordering to delivery on my truck. I KNOW I was lucky, and I'm grateful for it.

And yes, good luck on your delivery! Real men can be happy for others even when things aren't going well for themselves.

Thanks man! I was in no way gloating. As others put their build info/ dates on this site for others to gauge order times I did the same.

Screw 'em I would call you a few names under my breath but in the end be envious of you and happy for you....and more pissed at Ford for the piss poor lack of planning. They should have started stockpiling the chips they could get because they don't seem to have changed the physical chips as much as the software they are running on them.

Exactly. It's not any of our faults that Ford is bad at planning. Or rust proofing. Or getting quality batteries...

Hmm... Why did we buy Fords again? :ROFLMAO:

Most likely because Ford...until they got their 'nads caught in the vise grip of 2020 usually does a good job at making a quality product. The batteries have been an issue on every truck I have bought from them in the last 20 years. Less than 2 years after I have picked up trucks in that time have all had batteries that failed. Who knows what is going to happen with these now....

The same thing that is happening to Ford is happening to all of the large manufacturers. You have to look much higher than these large corporations to see the root of the problem.....can you say "big government"? It's gonna get worse....much worse. You obviously cannot "shut down" a country like ours and expect to come out unscathed.
It sucks, because it's all about power, money and control.
Had to say it....now you may delete this one.(or kick me out of here altogether)

I think this is the best forum of it's kind, but I'm sick of the whiners and I'm tired of sitting back and letting them roll.

If my understanding is correct this has more to do with the dealers you choose, allocations, sales, priority codes and what not. The OP pretty much has great dealer that sales plenty of Fords and gets priority, at least that’s my understanding on how all this works.

Is there an explanation of the priority codes listed anywhere? I'm curious as to how that works. My original Order Summary had a Priority Code of 19 listed, but that was printed before it was submitted to the order bank. Does the Priority Code show up anywhere on the outer edge of the window sticker? I'm curious to see if there is a correlation between my order code and how long it actually took.

My understanding is the priority code only tells the order guys how important it is to the dealer. At that point, it is allocations and features that control the scheduling at the plant.

I'm at 237 days, I am happy for you, that your build is going like they all should!
I hope your truck is a great ride!
I am pissed at ford and my dealer!!! I'm not saying it's their fault, but they could communicate!

Sorry for the rant, beer hasn't kicked in yet!
