So I recently installed an LED rope style light between the grill and hood. I wanted it to only be on with the park/head lights so I installed a pigtail from cjpony at the park light. So, in theory, when ever the headlight and or park lights were on this LED would also be on. I should mention this truck has auto headlights. Now. If I unlock the truck, day or night, the light rope comes on. If I manually turn on head lights during the day, the Iight rope won’t come on even though the markers are on and the light rope is powered by the markers. I should also mention that this light rope is also equipped with amber lights for the turn signal with separate wires going to each turn bulb. Those sometimes work during the day even though the white light bar isn’t on. Now I know that the 2021 F150 electric system is very complex and that sometimes more than one module controls a wire but I just don’t under stand why it’s temperamental like it is. Like if it’s just dark enough for the headlight to come on but not dark enough for the light bar but the markers are on. I don’t get it. Anybody else have this similar Issue. If so how did you fix it? Thanks
