I'd like to play a game! Pick your favorite F-150 engine!

From the six engines that the 2021 Ford F-150 lineup currently offers, pick one to keep, one to sell, one to crush, one to give to a friend, one to give to your enemy, and one to have Ford discontinue.

Also vote for what engine you got in your own F-150 above!

Ok, so I’m assuming there is a major war or some other global event where we are Mad Max style bartering 2021 model Ford engines and at war with enemies, so I’m going to give this my best reasoning using my imagined context. If anyone has these 6 engines in one place to keep, sell, crush, give, and make Ford executives discontinue, then something bad happened.

Here it goes!

Keep the powerboost: because I need it to power my things during the apocalypse and ration fuel to my advantage.

Sell: 3.0 Powerstroke. Because we all know what first gen Powerstrokes do. They are expensive! I’ll let someone else deal with that.

Crush: 5.0 V8 because it’s the apocalypse and the people with efficient turbo TQ power are king, so we are rounding up all the coyotes and crushing them.

Give to a friend: 3.5 EB because I might need him to help me, and I need something I know works good on 87 octane and is reliable.

Give to your enemy: 2.7 EB V6 because at this point I only have one friend during the apocalypse, and he isn’t very reliable, so I’m trying to keep my friends close, but keep my enemies closer ? maybe even make a new friend.

Ford discontinue: 3.3 V6 PFDI because who wants this engine in a truck. It’s not worthy of selling, giving away, or wasting the energy used to crush it (PB is powering it during apocalypse), so it should have never existed. We will hold the Ford reps up in their ivory tower until they cry uncle.

Keep: Powerboost best all around
Sell: Powerstroke, it costs the most (stupid) so sell for the most?
Crush: 3.5 Eco, powerboost supercedes it straight up
Friend: 2.7, objectively probably the best engine, price and ability considered, for most people
Enemy: 5.0, make it seem like a great gift but it's too slow and torque peaks high as a ricer
Discontinue: 3.3 V6, just replace them all with the 2.7 Eco

Keep: Powerboost. Most usage, most powerful

Sell: Powerstroke. Being discontinued and only very short run in '21 will make this rare and can gouge a diesel enthusiast

Crush: The V8. Loud and inefficient on fuel, which is a thing of the past at this point

Give (friend): The 2.7 EB. The best option for commuting and everyday use that doesn't need max towing or genny

Give (enemy): The 3.3L. No power, no frills. Eat my dust

Discontinue: The 3.5EB. This is 100% redundant with the PB, and less features. All Ford has to do is ramp supply chain on the electricals (battery etc) to meet the EB+PB volume, and pair the HD frame since the only advantage EB has is payload.
