Hello all,
I have a 2021 STX 2.7 and I just upgraded the cluster to an 8” cluster. I sourced the cluster from eBay and it was pulled off of a 21 XLT hybrid and now I am having the following issues:
1. Distance to empty (DTE) is incorrect cause the cluster appears to be accounting for extra MPG from the hybrid battery, which does not exist in my case.
2. “Stop safely now” error message on startup, that otherwise remains on cluster after dismissing the error. After some research, it appears that this is a generic error that is associated with a hybrid engine related fault.
3. The section for “battery miles” remains on the trip odometer (trip 1, trip 2). Not too big of a deal for me as the other issues, but thought it was worth mentioning.
Would it possible to reconfigure the once hybrid cluster to be compatible with my 2.7? Or did I mess up by buying the wrong cluster?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
