Depends if the F-250 gets a hybrid motor and 7.2kw ProPower (or more). At this point I see keeping my 2021 at least to 70,000 miles or so. It has all the options I want, has been quite reliable, performs great, and seems to avoid the issues that the newer trucks have been experiencing. It'd have to be some major new feature/capability to get me to switch. At some point I'll probably put some Bilsteins on mine, but other than that, I think I have it dialed the way I like it.

I've had my 2014 F-150 that I purchased new for nearly 10 years and I plan to replace it with a new 2024 F-150 or Tundra that I will also keep for 10 years.
I've often wondered, with all of this "planned obsolescence" how many of us plan on keeping our trucks long term?(like 10+ years) I tend to stick with things I like, but it seems like it's getting harder to do these days with the way vehicles are literally made to fail after the warranty expires it seems. Am I in the minority here? Just curious...
3 to 4 years or 60000 miles ! Might keep this 24 Tremor a bit longer , Will see.

I still own and drive the 2005 XLT I bought new 20 years ago, it's now my back-up vehicle. (y)

If the Fates smile on me, I'll be driving my 2022 Lariat just as long. ?

I get lots of satisfaction out of keeping vehicles in great condition and using them for the long-haul (not to mention that the life-cycle economics are great). :)

Until my lawyer forces Ford to buy this busted ass ride back. My truck has been broken since the day I ordered it!

Forever :D or if something major breaks. 21k miles (4k in the last 2 months since coming back to the US). It tows, it hauls, it takes the family to vacations. I don't see a reason to sell for a new V6 turbo at a premium.

I just bought a 2025 XLT Crew PB 302A package it is my second F150. Hope to have it 10+ years. My previous one was a Reg Cab 8' XLT Lariat bought new in 1990 for $12,900. Had to sell it a few years back because the Door Pillers were rusted out and would have had to convert it to a Duke's of Hazard Gen Lee door style. It had about 226,000 miles on it. Bought a 2012 Fusion in 2011 because my Grand Prix was totaled. It just flipped 200,000 this year. My Kid will have it for his sophomore year of college now. We bought a 2014 Flex SEL in 2015 new for my wife as the 05 Dodge Caravan was costing too much to fix. The FLEX has 157,000 on it now. Planning on doing a trip to FL next week with it. We also have a 07 Milan purchased last year with 157,000 for $3.5K but had to put about another $2K into it but it is over 200K now. The only thing I miss in my 2025 is the 8' bed, I have a 02 2500HD long bed that may be sold to buy a trailer to fix that.

I usually keep my vehicles until they give me a reason not to. My previous truck was a 2011 F150 that I bought new so it would be nice to get ~10 years out of this one. I am aware that the Hybrid is more complex and it seems Ford (and everyone else) is making things harder for DIY mechanics so I've been kicking around getting an extended warranty but haven't decided yet.

I had my 2011 till 165k miles. And my 2019 till 65k. only reason I got rid of my 2019 was because the pricing and I wanted 4x4. I paid 26k for my 2019 pre covid and they gave me 20k trade in.

8-10 years and 100k miles minimum is the plan. I also have the esp for 100k.

I have a 24 Lariat Supercrew with the 7.2kw PPOB. This truck has nearly everything i could want (except power running boards). Not selling unless it becomes unreliable. Its time to build a a new home and ramp up saving for retirement so I can eventually get that TT and live in it while in the Fl. Keys 6 months a year.
