How do I fix the upper molding on 2022 F150?

I have a 2022 F150 XLT. I didn't notice it until a month or two after I bought it that the upper molding on the driver side was coming off. After looking at it more, I noticed that the upper molding clips are broken off and the screws holding the upper molding into the clips are unable to go in properly. How hard would this repair be? It looks like the clips snapped off somewhere, so I am hoping I do not need a new upper molding piece altogether. Been trying to find someone else with the same or similar issue but haven't had much luck and YouTube has been limited. Thanks in advance!

Sorry didn’t notice the plastic mount was broke. That will be a bit harder. Try your local body shop see what they might suggest

I’m not familiar with how shops work since I try to do most work myself. Will they charge to look at it? I don’t mind paying for their time, just want to know what to expect.

They should not charge for estimating but might for instructions on how to repair. Looking at the pictures, you might just have to replace a plastic bracket behind the body panels with no painting involved. I would also try the Ford dealer parts dept and see what the part looks like and get an idea on how to replace it. It looks like there is just 1 bolt holding on the complete bracket.

I would assume if they would like future business or they are nice people they would help you out. Just go in and ask for an advice on what to do or where to get parts. Can’t hurt to try. If you have a good service dept or parts dept could ask them too. I know my dealer is really helpful. Seems to be not the norm by this forum from people that have had bad service from dealers.
