Help me choose: Should I buy Tan or black Weathertech floor mats?

I am about to order some Weathertech floor mats. These are the ones I have in my shopping cart, but I am wondering if it will be "too much" baja tan in my truck. Should I continue to lighten up the interior with the tan mats to match my baja interior, or put in some black mats instead? I really could use some opinions before I press the "order" button.

That's exactly what I was hoping for, is your opinions! You might be right about the different shade of tan. That might be why I am feeling odd about this purchase decision. I'm just so darn tired of black in my cars. Every one I've ever owned has been black or grey, my whole life. Except my C7 Corvette. That one's red inside.

Black...The tan will get super dirty. I have tan in my wife's escalade and they're always dirty.

Definitely black the tan will clash with those seats. I would leave the floor black and let the two tone seats shine, they look really nice!

I’m going with the Tan. My last truck 2016 Silverado, had all black interior I hated it. Every time I dropped something I had to get a flashlight to find it. Mud and dirt show less on tan. Buy a front pair on Amazon, if they don’t match send them back. Or see if a pair of Huskies match better.

I have tan in my Mercedes, no matter how much I clean, always looks dirty.
AS mentioned before your shade of Tan may not match with weathertech.

I use weathertech in SUV's but I am using Ford and Ram in trucks.

ws6transam, I really like the color combination (atlas blue and baja tan). Something different than grey. I would choose tan floor mats if I knew the shade matched.

By the way, I'm trying to figure out what's going on with the 22's, where some have a 12v power outlet at the bottom of the center stack, and some have a hook instead. It looks like you have a hook. Can you confirm that there is no outlet in your truck? Does the hook seem to have any purpose? Thanks.

You can buy mats that match perfectly with tan interior. Maxpider 3D makes a very high quality floor mat that matches. I had a set in my 2018 Lariat. Very easy to clean and they still looked new after 3 years..

Those 3D Kagu all-weather mats do look really nice. Much nicer than the weathertech 'over the hump' design. We're still looking at options and that one is unfortunately sold out, for now.

Well I looked around, and NAPA online , when I called their operator, offered me a five percent discount and free shipping. They were able to order the Maxspider 3D's for me. We are going to take a gamble on the color tan. If I don't like them, I can always swap them out for some Huskee liners. But they look really promising! Sale with sales tax, comes to $201.

New update: 3D Kagu mats are AWOL ; They quit making them. NAPA Auto had to refund my money. So I still have no floor mats.
