I purchased this Hellwig rear sway bar a few weeks ago. The quality (IMO) is terrible but it does make a fantastic improvement in ride characteristics. I've opted for another route, here is a post of my concerns during installation. Had I been keeping this I would send everything out to be stripped and powdered, it can likely be done for $80-ish. Then replace all nuts and bolts with quality hardware, assuming you can do this all for under $150 I'm happy to give it to anyone who wants it. Is this RSB worth the $532 I paid for it? Not a chance but I do feel like it's worth $150 if someone wanted to take the time to address the issues while saving a good bit of money.
I simply would not feel right asking a dime for this nor did/do I have any return refund options. Not willing to ship, DM me and we can meet in the 42348 KY area.
Asking price: Free.
You'll need a new u-bolt. They use cheap lock-nuts on most of the connection points, I joked that I'd likely need to cut them off when installing and sure enough, I nearly had to.
