Awesome. Please update how you make out. I am in the same situation as you. I have been reading through all these threads for days and just registered yesterday to message you! If you can’t get this to work I will have to start thinking about a 12” screen upgrade.

I’m still working on it today. Just got all the wires fished to the BCM. It’s going to be a coin toss on whether the button on the 8” screen works or not.

im going to strongly lean towards getting a 12” screen which would be nice anyway

This is my attempt to be a little lazy haha. Is there a distilled version of the correct parts and steps to follow when doing this mod? I guess I COULD read through all the posts but I’m hoping for something a little more concise haha. Thanks in advance!

No dice with the button on the 8” screen it does not fire the heated wheel like it did in previous 13 gen

Helping a buddy with a 2023 Raptor. I did mine by switching the SCCM and HVAC. Everything works great. He doesn't care for the hard button on the HVAC and only wants to swap out the SCCM. That said, how do I get the Soft Button to appear on the screen? He wants to keep the Sync screen the same with the button on the top bar. Is this possible? Do you have to turn on the lower bar?

I bet it would work just fine. I saw the same in the bulletin and breiefly looked up the new part number also. "N" first digit instead of "M" just means 22 versus 21 model year part. From the looks of it, it is just the highest spec HVAC controls, minus the digital readouts 21s had like the ML3Z19980K part number.

You’re right, I read SCCM and didn’t even bother to read the part description to see he was talking about the HVACM. It should fit just fine. He switched gears on me fast and I got confused ?‍?

Do you know if the super duty right side climate bar works on old versions of Sync?

I’m thinking of switching to the 12” screen but don’t have a mongoose and havnt had an update since forever

After reading 68 pages of HSW posts last night (literally) is there anyone in WI area that can help and/or do the HSW upgrade needed on a 23 Plat that came with the delete.

Yes, willing to provide some chee$e for the effort. Just want it done right... Dealers I have contacted are not willing to do this.

I also found out today that you can’t just buy the circular click spring and bolt it to your SCCM, although it might have the pins, there should be terminals on the SCCM circuit card to accept it

I would recommend anyone looking to just buy the clockspring portion to take yours off and check to see if the plug is in back of your existing clockspring to accept the new one

Or just get one for cheaper off eBay, that's where I got mine.

Funny how this cycle seems to go, we get things figured out on how to retrofit missing stuff, people start ordering things then everything goes on back order

Verify but this should be it. Just swap your stalk and you should be good. @superfordman video shows the process.

previously I just bought the clockspring and it didn’t bolt into the stock connection properly (guess the low level XLT’s dont come with the SCCM pinned to accept the clockspring heat)

i feel like I got the button working by switching to a super duty (it is selectable now and highlighted red) but turns out I bought the wrong clockspring and need the whole assembly with turn signal stock not just the actual clockspring
