To start, I am new to forscan but it seems relatively straight forward. I have a 2015 F150 Lariat.
So I decided to change my DRL from my low beams to the amber bar around the headlight. To do this I had to select my turn lamps as my DRL. While this had the desired affect, once the nighttime hit I noticed that my lowbeams are significantly dimmer. So I went in and reversed my changes, but still my headlights are much dimmer than before. Like drastically dimmer.
I can’t seem to find any cause of this or any to fix it and am hoping to find some help here.
My current thought is that somehow when I changed the DRL, it for some reason lowered the intensity or output of the lowbeams.
It may be important to note that I didn’t use the As-Built module and edit any lines of code directly. I simply went into the more simplified module and changed the drl from dedicated to turn lamps.
The only other thing I did was make it so that my position lights are on at the same time as the DRLs.
