Have order and dealer #. where to track.

OK I FINALLY received the dealer number from my salesman.
I am pretty sure I have seen on this site a link to where I can track info on my truck until a VIN is issued with just those two numbers. But for the life of me I can't find it...can someone help?
Also according to some info I saw somewhere a dealer number should start with an "F" here in the US but the number I was given starts with a number.....does everyone have the "F" in their dealer code?

You will need your Order Code & Sales Code, both of which are located on the order preview sheet. If you don’t have a copy of that sheet, your sales rep should be able to get you both of those numbers.

Where do I get an order preview sheet? Should the dealer have this from the get go? My salesman is pretty incompetent.

I walked out of the dealership with a photocopy of mine when I placed my order. You could ask your sales rep for a copy of your order preview sheet, or just ask him for the sales code and order code. If I were you, I’d want to have have a copy of the order preview.

I have the sales, order codes and dealer sales I'd. But never received a sales preview sheet...just a customer info page, deposit receipt and purchase agreement page.

Tell the dealer you want him/her to email you a copy of the "dora" that will have the order info you need as well as show exactly what was ordered to so can see that it went in correctly. I was able to get this at the time the order was issued into the system by the dealer.

Rep has never heard of a dora... can you tell me exactly what it is?

Interesting. Never saw one.
After reading a lot of posts here it seems there is no normal SOP for special ordering, processing and scheduling a Ford F-150. It's pretty much just wing it and see what happens and if paperwork gets misplaced oh well...

While I don't disagree the new orders are all over the map from a scheduling and build perspective this is a Ford system for ordering it would concern me if my dealer wasn't aware of it but YMMV. Maybe ask Granger, Chapman, or Koons all dealers on this forum.
