So following having my 2022 F150 powerboost recalls done, 22C22 parking lamp flicker and 22S71 for the wiper motors, my interior lights would pulse and not turn off.
I brought it to the dealer the next day to have it looked at. The service advisor insisted nothing they did would cause the interior lights to pulse. Then I was informed that I had to slam the doors closed, since that's why the lights were on, and that they had fixed the problem. Upon getting into my truck, the lights were still pulsing, so I slammed all 4 doors, ending in the lights still pulsing. The service advisor told me I had to schedule to leave it to get it fixed, and he told me to drop it off the next day. I had discovered that pressing the button to turn off the lights when you open the doors out would turn off the lights.
When I drove down to drop off the truck at 7:50am, the interior lights would still pulse like that had for the previous 2 days.
The advisor called me around 3pm to learn how to find the button to disable the lights turning on with the button near the map lights, which was a new thing for him apparently. After explaining how to operate the button, he said he figured it out and would confine to figure it out. 3 hours later he tells me they haven't been able to replicate the condition, and I told him I would go down to see if I could get it to do what myself and other people have witnessed.
Upon arrival, the advisor laughed at me saying they could never reproduce it, and that I'm welcome to try, but he "guarantees" it'll never have the lights pulse like I said they would. Sure enough, the lights weren't pulsing when I got in. I was laughed at, and he said to keep an eye on it. I asked him for paperwork and he said there's nothing for something that never happened in the first place. After I left, I noticed that my gauge cluster presets were all reset, and my head unit was reset as well. I feel like something messed up happened here, when all I needed was to be told they had to reflash my bcm for the recall. I just feel like this is off.
Also when filling up my truck I noticed the cowl is all messed up and misaligned, which is annoying, but not the main concern right now.
