Gen 13 Retrax Pro on Gen 14

I’ve seen a few threads on whether previous gen Retrax covers will work on our trucks. Found this gen 13 cover on Facebook for a song, so I figured I would give it a try and resell if it didn’t work. Happy to report I installed it on my 2024 SCrew shortbed with no issues. Took all of ten minutes since it was already put together when I picked it up.

This was after I emailed Retrax asking if it would work and they replied it would NOT. So either the person who responded was ignorant, or they just care about selling more covers.

retrax customer service is horrible ... got a 21 with a ford rebranded retrax on it and trying to get parts is a nightmare ......... great covers horrible service.....

Bakflip told me the same thing, although a little more wishy washy. I suspect they didn’t know and didn’t want to be wrong. I had a G2 on my 20 that went on a 22 and now sits on a 24!
