Hello. I was wondering if anyone has a concrete answer on weather or not its safe to use the reset all adaptations on forscan. I recently used it to reset my transmission shift strategy and now the transmission shifts great and its so much more smooth. A google search seems to give me conflicting answers some vehicles its seems jusy fine others its seems to make the tune go all over the place. I'm still trying to get rid of the ping I have under heavy load (towing, passing someone, ect). The truck doesn't do it on e85 only gasoline no matter what octane or gas station. Dealers are no help. I've tried and im done dealing with them. I want to see if I can use forscan to wipe out any weird tune the truck might have learned or something. Truck didn't do it when it was new and I used to run only 87 basically. Love my truck just trying to fix it. Every dealer I've taken it too keeps telling me its normal. Obviously its not. Any help here would be appreciated.
