Forscan Question - "sync gain" and "trailer brake assist"in the trm module, enabled or disabled ?

I bought my 2022 F150 lariat with the trailer tow package pre-installed but there was no brake controller in it. I bought and installed an OEM brake controller inc.uding the under dash module. I went into Forscan and then the IPC module and enabled the Trailer brake control module, Trailer brake control gain setting, Trailer brake module. Then I went into the TRM module and enabled the Trailer brake controler and Trailer battery charger. The trailer brake assit was already enabled. I checked the trailer brake operation and all seems normal. My question is : Does the "Sync gain" in the TRM module need to be enabled too?
I've not had the chance to connect to the trailer as i'm rewiring it to standard color coding. It's a used 16' cargo trailer that someone had rewired it the past, all with Brown wire only!
So I just want to make sure that I've got everything I need enabled so I head down the road safely
