I have tried everything and cannot get the change to work. The values are being written but and saved but the black box just sits there laughing at me! I have reset the APIM through Forscan and though the display. This seems to be the only change that isn't working so it really has me stumped. The truck is a 21 XLT crew 2.7 4wd

Sorry, and not trying to insult anyone, but have some basic questions since I don’t know how familiar you are with forscan. Sounds like you do have familiarity since you said you had successfully made other changes.

For 7D0-02-02, what is the original hex value of the digit all the way to the right in the left set of 4 where the * is in this example (xxx* xxxx xx—)?

Are you using Livingup’s recommended replacement value for the value in the astrick’s place?

Are you using the “wrench icon” button in forscan to perform the APIM reset?

Original was 0 changed it to 1 = no change

Did the unreal theme and the climate bar so then it was changed to 2 = still have the black box

Used Livingup’s values.

Yes, used the wrench then reset apim from there.

Only suggestion I can think of is since the value is now “2”, you might try “3” since that would be the move if “2” was original. If that doesn’t work then put it back the way you have it now if everything else is working.

If it doesn’t work out, hopefully someone else that has experienced this can chime in.
