For those of you who are using Etis as a tool take a look. These are 2 vehicles a a 2020 Mustang and a 2020 Fusion I have bought. I tried some older VIN but they did not produce any information. Both of these vehicles have NULL values for modules. Both had options that I did not purchase but needed advanced electronics (I.E. adaptive cruse control)

If I were forced into guessing, I would speculate that the data entry and database guys are playing catch-up after being pressed into other roles or are being furloughed to cut costs and pay for the union labor that is on paid leave during the chip shortages.

Parts.Ford is hit or miss lately and when it is working it's all wonky.

Looking up my VIN in ETIS, the wheels (except spare) and other equipment is accurate but my truck is listed as Chinese C490 Escort with a 2.0L DOHC PFI GAS 20V RNC engine.

other fields read Data is currently unavailable due to TanService outage and as far as modules go, several are left as null with LastChecked 01-01-1970 which could mean that they are unavailable or discontinued but could also just mean the database is all screwed up which I would believe more.

And a quick search on the issue shows that Etis.Ford has been showing crazy information long before the shutdown and chip crisis.

So I wouldn't read too much into it.

I totally agree, Etis is for mechanics not tracking builds.
