Wanted to post this up for those installing the Ford accessory rear mudflaps.
There are plenty of how-to videos online, but an issue is that some trucks are missing the second hold in the wheel well lip trim to mount the mudflap. The tire is in the way to drill the hole through the plastic. The hole is in the body of the truck.
I loosely installed the mudflaps and then melted the trim with a hot phillips head stubby screwdriver. I have about a half dozen of these so sacrificing one of them will not make a dent in the toolbox.
