Just wanted to share our experience this weekend using ProPower (7.2kw version) to power our 20 foot Airstream at a mountain bike race. Temperatures ranged from 36 to a very sunny 78, so a mix of heating and A/C, plus cooking a couple meals with the microwave, lights on, water pump on, and used the television a bit. Fuel consumption for 40 hours of power looks to be just under 2 gallons. Engine cycled on twice an hour or so for about 2-3 minutes each time (a bit more when the A/C was on).

So impressed with this system - it "just works" and is so convenient.

That's awesome. I was always getting different amounts from each user and I know everyone's usage varies but this is pretty good consumption. I'm planning on using mine as such on a couple of camp outings.

No idea of wattage load, but…
Power was out for 16 hours on our 3000 ft sq. house that has dozens of electronic devices and Scentsy warmers, as well as two refrigerators and one chest freezer. All lights are LED and most are on timers/sensors. Furnace, A/C, and other major appliances were off. Fuel consumption was estimated at about 2-2.5 gallons based on the preceding mpg and the drop in remaining range (24.3 mpg prior, 61 mile drop in range).
I love this feature!
