I would see if a local metal - welding shop could modify or make a bracket that works. Would be a better choice IMO.

Does anyone know the name of that valance that he drilled into? I was looking at this Paladin light a long time ago but don't want to drill into body panels if I had a brand new one sitting on the shelf.
Pre-painted or even aftermarket painted I would be more inclined to use this Paladin light. But I don't know what the name of it is 'grill valance'?
Better yet, part number?
