F150 pano roof issues

My 2016 f150 with dreaded panoramic roof sunshade got hung just about 4" open. I followed so e tips to reset the limits of stops. It got to grinding like a sprocket slipping on plastic gear. Now I tried to help the shade open assuming that the guide was sticking but now I got it all way open and the glass sunroof part will not respond at all. Anyone had this issue?

I think the pano-roof has changed very little at all across Gen 12, 13, 14
Buy yea, this forum would be all fresh and warrantied trucks. Maybe a leak or a rattle, but nothing worn/broken. Yet.

The experts say prevention is your best hope because once the track or mechanism breaks, it's a terrible expense.
Keep the seal well lubricated so it can't stick to the opening, and even give it a little help with your palm at the push of the pop-open button?
